| Dominic Joseph Flores Dominic Joseph Flores born on March 23, 2001 in Hazleton, PA Hello Everyone; My Name is Dominic Joseph Flores and I am seven (7) years old. I was recently diagnosed with Adrenaleukodystrophy (ALD). This is a ravaging genetic disorder a neuro- degenerative disease characterized by progressive brain and other central nervous system deterioration that would lead to death, typically just thirty (30) months after onset. My doctors at Hershey Medical Center and Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore MD are working to get me a bone-marrow transplant as soon as possible at the University Medical Center in Minneapolis Minnesota.
